Biography
Andrea Wainer, Psychotherapist, LCSW-R, Clinical Social Worker, has over twenty-seven years of experience working with children, individuals, couples and adults in; New York, Hong Kong, Tokyo, London and Singapore. She has a Masters from New York University.
She is an expert in development throughout the life cycle and serves as an evaluator and service provider for children with challenges and delays in all domains. She is an on-site behavioral health coach at a global financial institution and works with trauma impacted children. She brings empathy, compassion, and belief in each individual.
Andrea supervises students and clinicians in their work. In New York City she worked for the world renowned, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, in the division of Child Development for six years. She also worked for the infamous Bellevue Hospital on the inpatient AIDS team. Her work has always included being a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Andrea is an expert in divorce, narcissistic spectrum disorders, PTSD, Domestic Violence and thriving after involvement with a narcissist. She currently serves as an evaluator in child custody determinations. She has belief in the power of each individual to make change. She brings empathy, sensitivity compassion and validation to her clients.
